NBA MVP Blind Resume

The race for NBA MVP is heating up. Well, not really, as it has basically been a two-man race all along, with the leader nearly a lap ahead of everyone else. A few players are in the conversation, just to make it a conversation, but we all know who will win the award when the season is over.

HOWEVER.

Have you taken the time to look at each player’s individual stats, or have you just taken in what you’ve heard the media repeat over and over?

So much more goes into who wins MVP than just simple statistics, but they’re a good place to start.

Here are five of the most popular candidates for NBA MVP all stacked up against one another. Though some stats may be telling of which player is which, try to look at it with an ignorant eye. That is the point of a blind resume, after all.

BOLD – Leads League

Has this opened your eyes a bit? Swayed you towards one player or another?

Which stats mean more to you? All-around play, team success, low turnovers, high percentages, or something else?

Let me know what you think, and which player YOU think deserves this award and why on Twitter (@ChaseGage1, you know I’m going to give myself that free plug whenever I can)!

Without further ado, here is the key to which player is which. A few may have been obvious, but in case you didn’t figure it out:

Key:

1. James Harden
2. LeBron James
3. Damian Lillard
4. Anthony Davis
5. Giannis Antetokounmpo
